Ode-n (Hafu Hafu Ode-n) – Japanese Visual Artist and Game Designer

Ode-n, also known as Hafu Hafu Ode-n of HAKABABUNKO (also our client), is a Japanese freelance graphic designer and visual artist celebrated for his versatile work in 2D and 3D art, including pixel art.

Originally working as a web designer, Ode-n transitioned into video game artwork, where his distinctive and atmospheric visual style quickly drew attention within Japan’s indie gaming scene.

Recognition and Career

His breakthrough came at the Indie Games Festival 2021, where he received an award for Makoto Wakaido’s Case Files, a mystery adventure game developed by HAKABABUNKO.

This recognition led to a collaboration with Shueisha Games, the publishing division of Shueisha, Japan’s largest manga publisher. Within this partnership, Ode-n contributed his unique artistic vision to the project Urban Myth Dissolution Center.
