Animo – Japanese Singer, Lyricist & Interpreter for Anime and Game Events

Animo-san is a dynamic Japanese singer, lyricist, and media personality, known for her cross-media work across the anime and video game industries. With a career spanning performance, production, and international outreach, she has become a versatile and respected voice in otaku culture.

In addition to her music career, Animo-san worked as a “mercenary” at DOG EAR RECORDS, the label founded by Nobuo Uematsu, and served as the launch director for TBS Television’s Animaru!, an anime-focused shopping platform.

At Amazon Japan, she was responsible for enabling English-language shopping and created the OTAKU Store, making Japanese pop culture more accessible to global fans.

Animo-san has written and performed for acclaimed titles such as Side Kicks! beyond, Tokimeki Memorial, and IdentityV, bringing emotion and character depth to every song. Her live performances are a fan favorite at anime conventions, game expos, and music festivals across Japan and internationally.

Interpreter and Cultural Bridge

In addition to her artistic work, Animo-san serves as the dedicated interpreter for all Japanese guests represented in this program.
