KENJI OZAWA

Kenji Ozawa-san is a Japanese game producer and director, known for his work on major RPG and action titles with international development teams. He most recently served as director of Visions of Mana, continuing the legacy of the classic Mana series while managing cross-cultural teams in both Japan and China.

Prior to that, Ozawa-san played a key leadership role at NetEase Sakura Studio, where he helped establish the Japan-based division and contributed to large-scale development initiatives. Experiencing internal restructuring and studio layoffs firsthand, he turned this challenge into a new beginning by founding STUDIO SASANQUA Inc.

The studio was created with a guiding philosophy of balancing creativity, commercial viability, and responsible team management. Ozawa-san’s approach emphasizes originality, playability, and sustainability in game design, aiming to create experiences that stay with players long after the credits roll.
