Geht es nach der Meinung der Experten der Game Critics Awards dann war war The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild für die Wii U das beste Spiel der Messe. Auch in zwei weiteren Kategorien konnte das Spiel abräumen, wie ihr anhand der Liste mit allen Preisträgern sehen könnt. Die Jury setzt sich übrigens aus zahlreichen Medienvertretern zusammen (zum Beispiel IGN, Edge, Eurogamer, Yahoo) und das sowohl aus in den USA als auch aus Europa.
